The Thrasher Skatepark Roundup ended up at Tony Hawk’s private facility and after the heavy vert session Jaws figured out the railing could be taken out. There just happen to be a street course below with a pyramid. Put one and one together and yes Jaws snapped an ollie off the 14ft vert ramp into the bank landing. Someone had to wrap up the evening. Tony lost his mind and was trying to kick a hole in his wall and Jaws ended up getting a pay raise. Yeah Jaws.

This is Bennett Harada. A skate-homie of mine from Montebello (1986). He’s really been coming on strong lately. He’s become quite the local at the newly-completed Venice Beach Skatepark. His style is awesome, he strikes like a Samurai! C’mon, you know you feel it! YEAH! Take note-

See what a nice photo will do for you sales? An extra 3G’s!!! Doubt you will ever see a snowboard top this price unless it happens to be Jake’s own personal prototype. These Londonderry’s are Holy-Grail boards handmade by Jake, sold out of the trunk of his car. Imagine him back in the day, wearing his heart out on his sleeve trying to convince shop owners this would be the next big thing…how many times have you heard that kind of story?
RECESSION IS OFFICIALLY OVER! Well, if there is a recession…it’s not on eBay. This is the fine example of the Burton Londonderry. One of the original survivors of Jake Burton’s visionary beginnings. Burton snowboard Company is a true testament to what can happen if you follow your heart and live your dreams. I’m sure it wasn’t always smooth sailing, but it’s not about the destination, it’s about the ride along the way!
Funny thing about the pics for this eBay ad; I wonder if the seller was suprised at his result From the looks of his pics, he must’ve been expecting $9, not $9000.00 ha ha!

Here’s a rare “in the crowd” Point of View video footage, (courtesy of LosBadicales ) of Shaun White’s incredible gold medal run#2 where he unleashes his new move, the “Double-McTwist 1260!” Shaun continues to push the envelope of what’s possible in snowboarding today. I can’t wait to see what he does next! Count me in, I’m a fan!
